I'm not sure I'll ever get over / how loudly your handwriting / sings of you...

A quiet heat seeps in / and we sweat until we find / relief.

An ache of betrayal / But you were never mine / A shiver of fear / That you will forget me / like so many others...

Her smile breaks / small and sincere / like morning...

I thought of you this morning / Perhaps I am foolish in these early hours / But I wondered where we might be / Had I not run away from you

It's been a while / but it's a turn in your heel / a loose swing of your arms when someone / says something that warms you...
